On June 5, 2026, our incredibly proactive Project Managers and Editors decided to level up their skills by organizing a dedicated knowledge-sharing session at B’Steak Grill & Pancake Greenville.

Leveling Up the Details

Instead of a standard top-down meeting, this was a fully collaborative workshop. Our editorial team gathered over some amazing food to trade industry secrets, share workflows, and refine the technical side of comic production.

The core focus of the session was all about the art of the text. The team dove deep into:

Lettering Mastery: Tips and tricks for keeping dialogue readable, dynamic, and perfectly spaced within the panels.
Impactful SFX: How to design and apply proper Sound Effects (SFX) that actually enhance the action and emotion instead of cluttering the artwork.
Text Bubble Placement: Crafting the perfect visual flow to guide the reader’s eye seamlessly down the vertical scroll.

Fueling Creativity

Taking the team out of the usual office setup and into a relaxed, fun environment like B’Steak completely changed the dynamic. Sharing knowledge over great meals sparked awesome discussions, and everyone walked away with new techniques to apply directly to our ongoing titles.
