special guests: vertwo welcomes Japanese webtoon studio SORAJIMA!

Jakarta, Indonesia – On October 28, 2022, vertwo got a very special visit from Japan! We had the massive honor of welcoming the CEO and C-Level executives from SORAJIMA, one of the fastest-growing webtoon production studios in the Land of the Rising Sun.

If you aren’t familiar yet, SORAJIMA is a Japanese entertainment startup that focuses heavily on planning and producing original webtoons (full-color vertical manga for smartphones). They don’t just create hit titles; they also develop and manage their very own original manga app, “Sorajima TOON”. With their impressive track record in the global scene, having them drop by our studio was an incredible moment for the team.

Exploring Synergies & Exchanging Souvenirs

The visit kicked off with an introductory meeting between the two companies. In a super casual and fun atmosphere, the vertwo and SORAJIMA executives traded stories about the digital comic industry and explored potential collaborations for the future. We wrapped up the warm intro session by exchanging unique company souvenirs as a symbol of our new friendship!

Of course, no meeting in Jakarta is ever complete without a proper dinner! To give our guests a memorable welcome and introduce them to Indonesia’s rich culinary heritage, we took the SORAJIMA team out for a fantastic dinner at Seribu Rasa in Central Park Mall.
